Located inside Screams Halloween Park, Trail of Terror offers both the Mythical Monster Museum inside and the Trail of Terror outside. The price is only $7 and ToT is the best individual attraction in Screams. Tickets are available at the door as well as at the Screams ticket counters.

The fun begins in the Museum, full of creatures and text describing them. Lots of props are also on view inside. This is the most detailed collection of monsters and mythology I've seen and it's worth a second look after you've finished with the Trail. Esme, your Gypsy guide, leads you through the Museum and into the Trail. Along the way she describes the key monsters, meaning the ones you'll encounter on the Trail.

Yetis and snow are the theme of the Trail this year, and the Himalayan theme is the first of it's kind in this area. The first part of the Trail is similar to the Museum, with info about each creature on display. After a short while the Trail turns dark, the snow kicks in, and the Yetis come out to play. The Yeti costumes are excellent and the actors (on stilts) do a great job of harrying the guests. Yetis and their allies chase you through catacombs and caves and you really feel like you're on a quest. Adding to the atmosphere are constantly beating drums, located over the Trail.

The indoor/outdoor combination of the Trail of Terror, plus the detail of the Museum, are a great combo and the actors are first rate. The props are creative and there are some that I haven't seen elsewhere. For $7 the Trail of Terror is a must see at Screams!
