Phantasms, located in Mansfield just south of Arlington, is a Halloween theme park with five attractions. The attractions are Mead Manor, Nightmare in the House of Wax, Anubis, Pirates of the Scaribbean, and the Circus of Madmen and Monsters. The combo ticket for all five attractions is $21. Anubis wasn't open the night of our review but we hope to see it this weekend.

The actors at Phantasms are enthusiastic and active, with the actors in Mead Manor and the House of Wax having excellent timing. The fear factor is high, particularly at Mead and the House of Wax. Props and decorations are interesting and fit well with the theme of each haunt. Phantasms is in the country (but not too far out!) and has the feel of an old fashioned haunt, which is a nice change of pace from urban haunted houses. At $21 Phantasms is an outstanding value since you can easily spend 2-3 hours at the park and you'll see a wide variety of haunted attractions.

With an overall score of 9.3 we highly recommend Phantasms as one of the best values in the area!
