The Dallas Scaregrounds will be open at least through the 2007 season and will be at the same location. Opening night is Friday September 28. The Scaregrounds will be open Friday-Saturday through October until the 26th of October, after which it will be open nightly through Halloween.

After a strong opening season in 2005, Lafitte's Landing will reopen for the 2007 season on Friday September 28 in Wylie!

Phantoms Haunted House has moved out of the State Fair and into Allen, at US 75 and Stacy Road. The haunt is on the northeast side of the intersection and is visible from the freeway. Phantoms was a great haunt in Lewisville for many years and should return to form in it's new home! Opening weekend is September 21st-23rd. Phantoms Ghost Ranch will be open every weekend, Friday-Sunday through October 26, after which it will be open daily through Halloween.

Chaos and Nightmares have joined and will open in their new Kennedale location on Friday September 28. Their 12 acre park is called the Texas Scaregrounds and features three haunted houses plus a haunted hayride!

Despite rumors, Dungeon of Doom, located in the basement of the Arlington Museum of Art, will be open for the 2007 season. DoD is always one of the top haunts in Texas and will begin their season Friday September 28.

Haunted High, formerly located in the old Denison High School has moved and will reopen in the old nut factory in Denison as the Haunted Nut House. The Nut House will open in October and updates can be found at this address: www.hauntdenison.com

Dr. Haunt's in Gainesville has remodled this year, adding new rooms, scenes, and props. Dr. Haunt's is always fun and is worth the drive to Gainesville! Opening night is Friday October 5th.

Sadly, the Austin area's oldest haunted house has been forced to close by the Buda Tx fire marshall. I look forward to seeing Nightmare Factory in 2008!

Welcome to two new DFW area haunted houses, The Haunt House in Caddo Mills, and Hatch and Kraven's Slaughterhouse in Sherman. The Haunt House will open on Friday September 21 and Hatch and Kraven's will open on Friday September 28.
