Lafitte's Landing is a pirate themed haunted attraction located in Wylie on FM 544 (Kirby Rd) about 12 minutes west of US 75. Look for the hearse and strobe light, Lafitte's is on the westbound side of the street. For $15 you can enter the haunt once, or for $25 you can have the VIP ticket which gives you entry as many times as you want, a tour, and a look around backstage.

The outside of Lafitte's has the aforementioned hearse and strobe, plus a Spanish fort style entrance. The ticket area is nicely decorated with skulls, skeletons, pirates, and a ship wheel. The first room of the haunt features several actors plus an actress looking over the area. Once inside the haunt you'll find various rooms and scenes including a chapel, catacombs, a cemetery, a maze, a bar, a Captain's treasure room, a swamp area, and a couple of bridges. The rooms are connected by a series of dark passageways with roaming actors.

Lafitte's is a small haunt but is a good value at $15. It's also one of only two haunted attractions in the northern suburbs and is worth a visit.
