Hangman's in Ft Worth is without question the worst haunted attraction I've been to since 2005. The last place I went to that sucked this hard was Slaughterhouse in Dallas ( I won't review them any longer, that's how bad they are) but Hangman's makes Slaughterhouse seem pleasant by comparison. I normally list the various attractions at a haunt but in this case I'm not going to since I absolutely recommend against going to Hangman's. The props are pretty good and it's not too expensive, and those are the only positive things I can say about this place. While it doesn't cost much, you'll have an awful time, so what does price matter? If you're in Fort Worth, do yourself a favor and go to Cutting Edge instead of wasting your time and money at Hangman's.

For those with a morbid streak, I'm going to list the main reasons why Hangman's bites. First and foremost, these are the worst actors I have ever seen at a haunt. They have horrible timing and seem to think that's it's really scary to walk up to you and stare at you. That's all they do, walk up to you and stare at you. The real culprits are the people who trained the actors. My advice to Hangman's is to get a new staff next year, and especially get someone new to handle the actors. The heat in the extremely long wait in line is awful I was literally wiping sweat off of my face by the time I got into the first waiting room (you don't go straight into the haunt from the line outside) and I heard several people complaining about how awful the heat was. Making matters worse are the incredibly bright and hot lights over the line. The horrible karaoke and awful music onstage beside the line makes a terrible situation even worse. It's as if Hangman's is trying to makes it's customers miserable. After about a 30-45 minute wait in the outside line you get to wait in an even hotter inside line for around 10 minutes before going into the haunt. Once again lots of people complaining about heat and wiping their faces off. Once in the haunt the temperature rises! This is the most physically unpleasant house I've been in. The only thing about Hangman's that I liked was the feeling of relief when I finally got out of the place and cooled down outside. In addition to a terrible main house, Hangman's has three short and awful side attractions that I don't recommend. All in all Hangman's will suck the Halloween spirit out of anyone. I will never go to Hangman's again and I advise everyone to avoid it.
